PRINCIPIA: Master of Science is a simulation game set against the backdrop of 17th century European science. Players have the opportunity to select from twelve historical scientists from the era of Isaac Newton, embarking on a journey of research and discovery.

The game features six distinct research fields: Astronomy, Physics, Thermodynamics, Biology, Optics, and Mathematics. Players can choose one or more topics to investigate, conduct experiments, and document their findings for submission to the Royal Society of Sciences. Additionally, strategic competition allows players to undermine their rivals' progress.

Participants will have the chance to build their own encyclopedia, compiling inventions such as the Pendulum Clock and Reflecting Telescope, as well as sketches like Enlarged Views of a Cork or a Flea.

Originally developed as "PRINCIPIA" for a software contest in 2000, the game has since undergone significant enhancements in its systems, graphics, and audio. The current version includes features such as a "Final Theme" and "Order of Merit," making it markedly different from its original iteration.
